Alberta’s bluegrass radio shows include:

Fire On The Mountain hosted by Craig Korth- CKUA 101.3 FM (in Red Deer) 580 AM two hours Sunday mornings at 11 (check www.ckua.org for frequencies outside the Red Deer area)

Uptown Bluegrass hosted by George McKnight- CFCW 790 AM, for two hours Saturday evenings at 7:00. http://www.uptownbluegrass.com

Prairie Pickin’ hosted by Rob Baker & Doug Ritchie- CJSR 88FM, for two hours Thursday evenings at 7:00. http://www.cjsr.ualberta.ca

The X'TRA Good Bluegrass Hour broadcasts each Wednesday evening at 7:00 on www.chetradio.com. Hosted by Don Gothard.

There are literally dozens of places to find bluegrass radio shows on the Internet.

You might like to try www.bluegrasscountry.org for 24 hours (mostly) bluegrass music.  www.spinner.com has a selection of genre specific channels including bluegrass going all day and all night.  www.wdvx.com provides tremendous bluegrass, roots, and Americana music from the camper in Knoxville, TN.

If you go to http://www.drberlin.com/bgaudio.htm, you should find a list of 70 or so online bluegrass radio outlets - daily and weekly broadcasts!
