Open Road

…in the life (Rounder)

Open Road, a youngish Colorado-based group, play bluegrass the way it is supposed to be- driving, lonesome and passionate- in a manner that recalls Mac Martin and the Dixie Travelers and the McCormick Brothers. Bradford Lee Folk has a soulful, unique voice. The song selection on their third album is strong with material from the Bailey Brothers and old-time fiddle tunes sitting beside four terrific band member compositions. Fans of the Johnson Mountain Boys will love the latest from Open Road.
